I went from playing full-time hockey to launching two small businesses in less than a year. In doing so, I refused a full scholarship + a $40,000 check from one of the top colleges in Canada. I ended up working at my computer for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Knowing how terrible sitting is to our health, I decided to lodge my old car tires under my desk to work standing. Standing in front of a computer all day turns out to have its downsides as well. That’s when I decided to focus all my energy on a new startup; ergonofis.
