Sam Florence is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Prior to beginning his legal education, Sam spent over three years working in the State and Local Tax practice at GBQ Partners, a midsize regional public accounting firm in Columbus, Ohio. Sam specialized in indirect tax, mainly in sales and use tax consulting and compliance for clients across a variety of industries.Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (specializations in Finance and Accounting) from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, Sam was an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant within the Fisher College of Business, where he was responsible for teaching two weekly Business Statistics recitation courses. Sam also sat on the Executive Board of the Undergraduate Finance Association, the largest finance-focused student organization at Ohio State, where he was Vice President of Corporate Relations.
