With a past career as a professional chef of 25 years, 18 of which had been within the British army (UK armed forces). Within the past 22 years, I had also managed a catering franchise attached to a known British football club. I have worked as support staff for a well known British musical band, I have worked within numerous hotel settings all over the UK, as well as having managed an established franchise bar ( Fahrenheit and firkin ). My employment had taken me to locations such as Kosovo, Bosnia, Africa, Iraq, USA, UK, Canada, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Poland, Falkland Islands, and Norway.Whilst working within these locations, I was tasked with managing several locations/staff with all and any catering requirements, including any environmental specifications. My previous role was to supervise and over see all day to day production of all food within the establishment of which numbers ranged from 30 too 5000 customers three or four times a day. Teaching was also a part of my daily taskings, such as guiding junior members of staff in the correct work place procedures set by legislation as well as catering skills and knowledge. Customer service relations training and adhering to health & safety guidelines at all times regardless of the working environment such as location, lack of equipment and other resources, where also part of my teaching tasks.Further more, I am also trained and qualified within all environmental duties such as water purification, soil treatment, pest control, wastage control, bio hazard control, structural issues, bacteriology recognition, and prevention, as well as being an advanced first aider. Over the past few years, I have also been trained and gained essential work experience within Clinical Hypnotherapy, having treated several clients during this time scale.At the same time, I was also able to build my own business as a therapy work shop (blacksmith training/talk therapy, free of charge) that had proven at being very successful for some years now, working mostly with individuals suffering from mental trauma (PTSD). Now my intentions are in gaining a degree in applied psychology where I can continue helping those that suffer from all aspects of mental health. So! For the next few years, my focus is obtaining my bachelors degree along with my master's/doctorate in applied psychology whilst also continuing to work within a complex care environment, thus aiding myself in gaining further knowledge and skill sets within a mental health care setting.
