As the Sourcing Director for Electric and Electronics, my responsibilities extend to overseeing the global commodity/category management team and the component engineering team. Collaboratively, our team manages expenditure and suppliers at a group level for three divisions, main commodity/category EMS (time limited), Motors, wire harnesses, keypads, power supply and chargers, electronic components, and software as direct materials.I have played a pivotal role in establishing an electronic commodity management structure and redefining Husqvarna Group's approach to electronics. This involved creating category structures, implementing processes, conducting recruitments, formulating top management semiconductor strategies, and more.Moreover, during the recent semiconductor crisis, I led the Semiconductor Task Force. This initiative involved establishing the team, structuring its operations, and defining its work methodology. I provided leadership to the team for over two years, achieving commendable results in navigating through the challenges of the crisis.

In my role as the LBU SCM Manager at ABB, overseeing sourcing for the Local Business Unit's Control products, I held responsibility for ten commodity/category managers and four sites. I managed all costs within my jurisdiction, with the exception of indirect expenses, which were consolidated centrally within ABB. The key focus areas for this LBU included electronics, EMS, metals (such as silver, copper, and steel), plastics, and various other critical categories.My duties encompassed negotiating, developing, and implementing strategies, as well as overseeing reporting and follow-up processes. Additionally, I played a key role in establishing contracts and managing related tasks.
