I am a graduate of Purdue University, with a BS in Biochemistry. My first position after completing my degree was a 6-month internship as a Chemistry Research intern for E.&J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, California. There, I worked with the Chemistry team as a part of the Viticulture, Chemistry, and Enology department. Some of my responsibilities there included regular grape-chemistry analysis, collaborating on larger projects within the Chemistry team, and an individual research project I later presented to the department.I currently work as an Associate Beverage Scientist for Imbibe, where I work as a part of the Product Development team in the R&D Department. Outside of work, I spend a lot of time thinking and reading about fermented beverages, specifically craft beer. I have completed a certification for creating fermented Craft Beverages through eCornell. I have a few rounds of home brewing under my belt, and lately I have started writing my own recipes! I am looking forward to applying my development skill set from my career to continue to improve both my process and recipe design.
