I am fascinated by how evolution shapes the living world around us. Currently, I take an evolutionary approach to investigate how cancers arise, progress and spread. Over my 12+ years in biomedical research I have developed a versatile set of bioinformatic skills, a deep knowledge of experimental biology, and a passion for effective scientific communication. I completed my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2023 (studying the genomics of contagious clam cancer) and started a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Genome Sciences (studying mutation rate evolution in cancer).
