I have worked for my current employer for nearly 4 years and have excelled in my capacity as a millwright. My current duties require me to drive a commercial vehicle to various industrial manufacturing facilities to begin the repair process of heavy stamping equipment. Depending on repairs the customer desires we define the scope of work and will either repair the machine in place or disassemble the machine and transport it back to the company’s facility to complete repairs and return to the customer’s facility for reassembly. A very high mechanical aptitude is required to perform most of the tasks required in this field of industrial maintenance.Prior to working for my current employer I worked in several different locations that range from manufacturing to postal service and retail. My military service began in 2009 and was completed in 2015. I was active duty military from 2009 to 2012 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. My military occupational specialty was motor transport operator. I’ve performed numerous operations in the United States and abroad as I was deployed to Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010 and and 2011 for a duration of one year. Performing logistics operations in the military as well as basic soldiering skills instill attributes such as patience, integrity, and responsibility. In addition to my active duty military service I also served in the Tennessee Army National Guard from 2012 to 2015. I was separated from both active duty and National guard service honorably with several military commendations.
