I’m currently a Senior Finance Expert in the Propel business – a rapidly growing technology driven start-up within Deloitte that is changing the way accounting is delivered. My day to day role means looking after a portfolio of fast growth businesses as a client manager, and managing a client delivery team consisting of qualified and trainee accountants.I provide core services to ambitious, fast growth start up and SME businesses that include statutory compliance and filings, corporation tax work, VAT returns, management accounting, bookkeeping, forecasting, analytics and growth planning. I arrange EIS, SEIS, R&D tax credits, personal tax and other advisory services for clients. This is delivered using the best cloud accounting support apps and technology available.I interact with business owners, entrepreneurs, CEOs, directors and shareholders frequently, knowing the importance of building strong and trusted relationships. I find it rewarding to see our client base grow and to help with the financial information that can provide insight into making business decisions.In addition to client delivery, I support the operations of the Propel business whilst it scales. This includes driving client pricing and sales, team learning and CPD and working with third parties to find technology solutions to fit client needs. I was promoted to the position of audit manager from September 2016.

I joined the corporate finance transaction services team on a 6 month secondment. I worked on a variety of buy and sell side transactions, and assisted in the preparation of several due diligence project packs.

I worked as an assistant manager in the audit and assurance department, working on a variety of audit projects, from large FTSE Corporates to small high-growth OMB.
