My life as a student at Capital University has given me a plethora of experience and knowledge. I started my educational journey as a business management major, but after exploring further into the field of human resources through my business curriculum, I decided to pursue a minor in human resource management. I found myself most passionate in the area of benefits and compensation and have been pursuing further knowledge in that area.Soon after I pursued a minor in human resource management, I held a position as a field intern for Advance Auto Parts. I dealt with spreadsheets and P&Ls, which I had to analyze. This sparked my interest in data science, so I decided to pursue another minor in data science. I know having a better understanding of data and how to effectively use it will help me in my career aspirations in the field of human resources.I hope to further my experience and knowledge in both data science and human resources to be an effective HR professional.
