  In this role I followed instruction from senior engineers, completing assigned tasks to develop necessary design, justification, and maintenance documentation for aircraft landing gear. I completed the project management fundamentals course developed by the association for project management (APM) and specific training for availability, reliability and maintainability. I would scope project work and agree tasks with clients directly, defining the deliverables and the cost for various work packages. I was required to independently manage and oversee the production and review of various documentation required as part of certification of mechanical systems. I would coordinate and interface with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to execute assigned engineering work. I took part in the STEM ambassador program “flying start challenge” to spread awareness of STEM positions to youth.Projects have involved:- Stress justification,- Design justification,- Requirements validation and verification,- Mechanical test planning and review,- Systems engineering,- Client management.
