Appointed to lead supply chain operations for one of Lindt & Sprüngli’s largest subsidiaries, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company—overseeing 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space and managing a product production across 12 manufacturing facilities and three distribution centers.Tenure spans manufacturing (incl. contract-manufacturing, contract-packing) system, process, and infrastructure improvements; team building and culture transformation (e.g., engineering, industrial performance, project management, demand and supply planning); “last mile” distribution center readiness; end-to-end supply chain maturation; ERP implementation.Accomplishments include designing a demand-driven supply network to reinforce manufacturing flexibility, synchronizing demand plans with supplier capabilities, redefining leadership roles and organizational structure, co-developing a distribution initiative to create economies of scale, bringing value-creation capabilities into supply chain operations, and acting as a key stakeholder on an ERP migration.Additional leadership includes evolving the manufacturing culture around world class operations management principles, applying continuous improvement (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma, Lean, WCOM) and human dynamics approaches; reducing lead time through vertical start-up principles; redesigning product development processes to enhance speed-to-market and first-time right; evolving the manufacturing organization’s safety principles; leading a manufacturing automation initiative; and implementing a new digital platform to provide production leadership with real-time production visibility.

Hired to lead safety, quality, and productivity team, serving as stand-in lead in the director of production’s absence and ultimately overseeing 80,000+ sq. ft. in manufacturing space. Led 3-month pilot introducing Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, visual management, PCS) with external company to improve capacity constraints on production line. Project helped shape Lindt’s decision to roll out TPM across manufacturing sites worldwide.
