In this role, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our product development across the company, from concept to market launch. This was an executive role within the Senior Leadership team.My role in the team is to provide governance to all projects within the product roadmap, engage with the SLT and monitor the business, and manage the entire Product Development budget. I achieved this through setting regular routines of communication and reviews, applying risk-based decision-making and intentionally building a strong team culture of trust. I also manage the integration team, ensuring they verify the appropriate integration of new product development and meet the product requirements.

As a project manager in the Product Development team, I lead product development projects of our cutting-edge mass spectrometer. I work with disciplinary and cross-functional teams that innovates on complex technology to deliver a world-class product that meets customer needs, is manufacturable, and achieves commercial success.In my role I managed all aspects of the project, including communication to both stakeholders and technical teams, budget, schedule and risk management as well as maintaining project documentation.The Product Development team is a fast paced, multi-disciplined environment where we work on a very unique technology platform that brings a unique value proposition for our customers.

I re-joined the Production team at Syft being a team leader with 6 direct reports. My role included team management, responsibility in delivering on-time and with quality of my team's phase within the production line, training, and driving continuous improvement projects to bring better efficiency and quality.A key project I contributed towards is creating customised automation software tools that add value to the production team by improving speed, ease of operation, as well as more consistent and controlled quality.

South Pacific Botanicals produce a range of cosmetic products using all natural ingredients sourced from the Pacific, with a predominant focus on extraction and use of essential oils in their products.As the production supervisor on a fixed term contract, my role is to oversee the manufacture of all cosmetic products and operation of the distillery. During my time I focused on improving production procedures that can help scale production to the next level. This included creating more structure around their current batch manufacturing system, introducing key points of quality control and data analysis tools from the quality control to ensure long term consistency.I also designed new labels for four product lines to help revitalize the product and aid their marketability.

After my internship and final-year project with Syft, I came on board as a full-time mechanical engineer. I moved into a role within the production team, specifically the calibration phase of production. My responsibilities included management of a team of technicians within the calibration phase, communication between stakeholders of production, troubleshooting of the instruments.I was also still involved with the development team, taking on a number of projects designing new components to improve the performance of the instrument.

As an intern at Syft, I was a part of the development team designing components for the next iteration of their mass spectrometry instrument. My design projects included industry-specific internal mechanical chambers as well as sheet metal external enclosure design.I went on to complete my final year project with Syft, designing and manufacturing a product called the Ion Funnel. The ion funnel is an existing product used in other mass spectrometry devices, but never been implemented in SIFT-MS nor the Syft Instrument. The specific application presented a number of challenges including extreme environments, space constraints and integration with a complex system.

I tutored a weekly tutorial for EMTH171, an intermediate mathematical modelling paper. This role involves helping students learn the basics of MATLAB through weekly sets of tutorial problems that are worth a percentage of their grade.

Working in maintenance my responsibilities involved maintaining the general hospital facilities such as boilers, air conditioning units, and plant rooms. Furthermore, I was involved with construction and renovations within the hospital providing experience in building labour and electrical wiring.
