Masters Thesis: “Optimization of a microfluidic chip design to perform optical nanomotion detection for antifungal susceptibility testing in space”• Simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics for optimization of 3D model and fluid flow in microfluidic chip device (incorporated into FLUMIAS microscope, as part of FLUMIAS-ESA project)• Optical and fluorescent microscope observation of cells concentration gradient, followed by nanomotion detection (Matlab)• Comparison of materials used for fabrication (PMMA, PDMS, Flexdym etc.) and cell filling procedure(Grade: 18/20)
