• Designed, and led the development, implementation and monitoring of the Country programme communication strategy. • Collaborating with colleagues in Nigeria and other NRC offices, Regional and Head office to develop and monitor a communications action plan that reflects use of a variety of different communications tools - (photos, case studies, online platforms, infographics, videos etc). • Work closely with media and communications colleagues at the regional and global levels to develop, coordinate communications materials.• Provided training and on-the-job support to colleagues in field location to develop their skills in communications, including taking quality photos and developing case studies• Liased efficiently with programs teams to develop visibility materials and other communications products that comply with NRC and donor guidelines.• Supported in the organization of all Advocacy campaigns, sensitizations and outreaches with programme personnel.• Drafted press briefings and press releases; ensuring all activities and findings of the project were properly documented.• Undertook regular travels to NRC program locations to gather content relating to NRC programs, and support program staff with communications-related activities.• Collaborated effectively with media personnel for timely dissemination of important information regarding the intervention and activities carried out.
