I am currently fulfilling the role of Commercial Manager on the Power Supply Upgrade (PSU2) Programme. Some responsibilities I own are:- Various contract administration activities; management of the EWN register, drafting & issuing instructions, and sectional completion. - Management of the change account. This leads to collaborative reviews with PM and Engineering disciplines, and liaison with contractor QS and commercial representatives. - Management of the risk register, entailing periodic reviews with the wider client team, aligning risks with EWN themes, and attending QCRA/QSRA workshops.

I fulfilled the role of Graduate & Assistant Cost Planning Manager as part of the Cost Planning & Estimating function on the TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Programme. Some examples of tasks I completed are:- GRIP4 estimate for £100m+ train depot, included the use of CostX, pricing indirect costs, and liaising with specialist suppliers. - Re-budgeting the Project Management Office forecast for the entire length of the project. This was utilised as a tool for managing headcount and the burn rate of the preliminaries.- Worked closely with the Head of Cost Planning & Estimating and the Finance Director of TRU to write and assure the Programme Business Case (PBC2) to unlock funding from the Department for Transport (DfT).
