SHULE Baseline Evaluation Survey:Conducted a Baseline survey for the SHULE. The Baseline covered mostly issues to do with life skills, remedial classes for vulnerable girls and reasonable accommodation in schools for girls with disabilities. Its objective was to determine way in which to strengthen the quality of education provision for refugee girls in Northern Kenya to improve transition outcomes, particularly for girls with special needs and over-aged learners.

End of Project Evaluation for the Royal Netherlands Embassy project - Promoting Access to Justice and Enhancing Respect for Human Rights in Kenya as an end of project evaluation.The evaluation sought to understand the value and for whom the project added, in the context of access to Justice and Enhancing Respect for Human Rights in Kenya. The evaluation further sought to understand whether the project responded to the real needs of the beneficiaries in the intervention areas.The evaluation made a number of findings, on the basis of which the Consultants have made conclusions and relevant recommendations to improve aspects of the project and future projects in that thematic area. The evaluation chose to use the OECD evaluation criterion which is a globally recognized evaluation standard that focuses on the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the interventions. These findings and analysis of the end-term project evaluation as reported below focused on the fivesix (56) evaluation criteria of project: Relevance; Effectiveness, Efficiency; Sustainability and Impact.

At EMACK I helped the organization meet its data requirements. I fully participated in development of the EMACK 2011 Baseline tests. I played an active role in data collection. I was put in charge of the entry and management of the collected baseline data. I also actively took part in analyzing the different data sets from the baseline. As part of EMACK’s M and E team I regularly participated in cleaning of data and making sure that the data in the M and E worksheets is consistent. Together with the M and E officer in the Nairobi regional office we managed to come up with a pilot digital M and E data management system on MS Access. I attended to families who had been affected by the Post-Election to offer psycho-social support and assist the families to access legal action in cases where their rights had been violated.
