Hi! My name is Sam, work is my way of life. I started working at the age of 8 helping my parents with their Pigeon Farm all the way until 18. From there I found the passion to cook and started working and getting educated in the food industry. From here, I started another career off in the grocery field, where I got my forklift certification and instructor rating for power trucks levels 1-7. After a brief move, I went into the warehouse field where I learned how to maintain quotas by packing a certain amount of boxes per hour or loading whole trailers within an hour. At this point, I am 20 and started looking at trucking, which my family is also involved with, starting my career in the family business and then with another company, who was seasonal. I loved the camaraderie and the team I worked with. Unfortunately, the season ended and where I lived, there was a high unemployment rate, so I decided to head towards the bay area and landed as a storage property manager where I learned to be my own boss and lead a team, making sure that I hit deadlines and maintained customer satisfaction. That is when I found Enterprise where I became a Customer Service Representative at the San Jose International Airport and quickly worked to my first promotion into the fleet department. I would work here for two and a half years and become a supervisor. My past experiences and skills have aided me through my work adventure and I continue to grow and develop! #BETHESTANDARD
