Heya, I’m Samuel, the professional and kind oddball from Helsinki, Finland. I’m a trilingual, 33-year-old third year student, currently studying Information and Communication Technology at Häme, University of Applied Sciences. I also have a degree in Music Technology & Audio Engineering from Koulutuskeskus Salpaus, Orimattila. The first five years of my professional career, I’ve worked in various jobs such as construction, logistics, moving and grocery stores. The following ten years I spent fulfilling one of my childhood and teenage dream of becoming a full-time music producer. I did achieve that first milestone! As a hip-hop and pop-music producer in Finland, I have several chart topping songs in the bag and internationally, I made quite a few EDM-songs played by many big DJs and radio stations. Furthermore, I’ve also had other music-related jobs, such as composing, audio engineering, sound design, teaching and even radio-show host. On top of a career in the field of music and audio, I've always worked with computers. In my 30’s I decided to conquer another endeavor in my life - to become successful in the field of IT. I love being knowledgeable of things, systems, entities, through learning about and developing them. I have a high interest in development, especially Full Stack. Regardless of the development platform, I have a passion for being a problem solver and an idea bank.I already know fundamentals in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, Python / Django, C#, SQL and HTML5 / CSS to name a few. I'm familiar with Windows, OS X and Linux operative systems. Through clerical work I am well familiarized with the O360 -environment. Also, at my current role as a Technical Support Specialist, I have great knowledge of Google Workspace products, AppSheet and fundamentals in Google Cloud.Development is also one of my spare-time hobbies on top of audio, floorball and discgolf. However, a counter balance to my tech-savvy lifestyle is deflating my brain at my summer cottage - building things out of wood and relaxing in the quiet.I call myself the Swiss Army Man of tech and audio - a very handy and reliable general asset for anyone interested in building their projects. Also note the acronym S.A.M, which is my first name shortened ;)Fun fact: I tend to hyper-focus on the task at hand until I finish it!
