Renexxion is focused on advancing the late-stage clinical development of its lead program, naronapride, a potential best-in-class drug candidate for dysmotility in the upper and lower GI tract. My role at Renexxion is to support the pathway to approval for various indications globally.

Xyra is developing budiodarone, a novel anti-arrhythmic, for the treatment of non-permanent atrial fibrillation (AF). We intend to enter late-stage clinical trials using a combination of budiodarone with wearable devices to create a complete package for early detection and treatment to improve long-term outcomes in AF.

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, founded in 1898, is the first institution in the world dedicated to research and teaching in tropical medicine. In its state-of-the-art research facility, I was responsible for conducting late-stage clinical trials investigating vaccines and novel diagnostic devices.

Two years of practicing medicine after completing medical school, managing acutely ill patients and developing competencies in a range of specialties. The rotations I completed were in general surgery, diabetes and endocrine, internal medicine (during COVID-19 outbreak), paediatrics, general practice and ear, nose and throat surgery.
