• Interact face to face with members and potential members visiting Project AIR and CORE MMA and help them to get the most out of our programmes and facilities• Create relationships with organisations working with youth at risk in order in offer development to young people through Parkour and Martial Arts• Remove barriers to participation by working with local businesses and charities to organise sponsorship for young people and families who are struggling financially• Run corporate events and competitions under our events brand, Full Force Fight Co• Maintain our social media presence for CORE MMA, Project AIR and Full Force Fight Co

• Further to my responsibilities as a Youth Justice Social Worker, as a senior practitioner, I have taken on the following additional responsibilities:• Provide, in consultation with the supervisor, mentoring to improve practice and support to inexperienced colleagues through co-working• Be a role model to social work staff and promote best practice through peer supervision• Promote collaborative relationships with other agencies and stakeholders• Manage complex and crisis situations and act-up as supervisor as required

• Convene and facilitate Youth Justice Family Group Conferences as defined in the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989• Seek creative and restorative alternatives to criminal proceedings against young people, in collaboration with whānau, hapu, iwi and our communities• Make certain that young peoples’ voices are heard and that they have a say in decisions affecting them• Ensure that the right people are involved and the right information is available to Family Group Conferences to inform the decisions and planning• Enable the victims of youth offending to participate meaningfully in the Family Group Conference process• Work closely with our partners and stakeholders in our communities to foster collaborative relationships and help build their capacity to make a difference for children and young people in our community

• Complete assessments and collect information to inform interventions for children and young people involved in the Youth Justice system• Support and monitor Children and Young people completing Plans and Orders to address criminal offending• Help Children and Young People accept responsibility for their behaviour, put things right with their victims, and take opportunities to develop as members of their community• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders and service providers, including Courts, Iwi, Police, victims, education and addiction service providers, to achieve optimal outcomes for clients• Contribute to learning and development of the Waikato Youth Justice team
