Installed, configured and managed SUN computers and associated hardware. Generated, administer, and performed day to day management of the Solaris operating systems used on academic support computers at the University. Coordinated installation of computer operating system software and tested, maintained, and modified software. This position also served as backup support of the UNIX computers and networking systems throughout UWG. Installed CAT5 and CAT5+ Networks. Reviewed system capabilities and limitations to determine if application software and services requested by the University community were applicable. Managed and maintained integrity of information systems permanent storage. Performed performance tuning and troubleshooting. Managed the central site e-mail system and web server. Assured failsafe backup procedures and restored data in coordination with operations. Took part in emergency "After Hour Contact" on-call person system.

ADT was the writer of MADAS, a complete business solution for service companies. I was in charge of all technical and customer training.
