I research 3D-printed blood vessels and aim to spatially and temporally control neovascular morphogenesis through tuned collagen type-I fibril kinetics. My goal is to design perfusable vasculature within collagen constructs to enable the next generation of functional organoids and vascularized constructs for improved 3D in vitro models and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
