I am responsible for the quality inspection of custom high-precision fabricated metal parts designed and manufactured for the medical, defense, aerospace, and electronic industries. I utilize Micro-Vu and Keyence multi-sensor coordinate measuring machines to do so. I am a highly skilled and productive operator and programmer working within the metrology department. I cooperate closely with all departments of the company to ensure that the work orders are fulfilled in a timely and professional manner. The departments are as follows: Mylar imaging & photo tooling, laser cutting, electroforming, chemical etching, microscope inspection, STV, formation, shipping & receiving, sales, and administration. I crafted my creations with a diverse array of hand tools and power tools at my personal workstation under limited time constraints. I had direct access to a computer and the wealth of software it offered in order to assist my daily responsibilities. I worked independently and autonomously within diverse teams of experienced material handlers, assemblers, mechanics, quality inspectors, and engineers. I worked around a series of conveyor belts performing a variety of actions depending on where and what role I was scheduled for the shift. The roles I usually was tasked with are as follows: truck unloader, package distributor, Avery scanner, diverter, splitter, line picker, package scanner, route list picker, water-spider, van loader, van auditor, and problem solver. This job was incredibly stressful and hectic, so therefore required perseverance, understanding, and a positive attitude.
