Typically, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), when an opportunity is uncovered, I would qualify the opportunity accordingly. Once the opportunity has been qualified, I will adopt the RAIN framework to deep dive into the opportunity and see it to closing. > I am responsible for the development of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and I will run this through with the solutions delivery team to gain concurrence of the BOM. > I will then craft out a budgetary proposal to gain concurrence with the customer to gain buy-ins and also for the customer to acquire a project budget. > Once all of the above are aligned, it’s a matter of ironing out the technicalities of an in-depth proposal and closing the deal with the customer.
