Be an Ambassador of the Lean Excellence Phased Deployment Model and will ensure rigorous adherence to the Phased Activities and to the exit criteria. Key responsibilities are:• Engage with and represent the Deployment Sites in the Continuous Improvement (CI) Team• Enable the development of the sites’ Lean deployment plan. Support the execution of their deployment plan and competence development.• Train and coach Lean Masters, Experts, Advanced and Foundation Level• Build a network of external Lean/ CI best practices and consultants• Involvement in Lean End-to-End deployments (I2M, M2O, O2C)• Constantly challenge the status quo and be role model for End2End Lean Thinking.

Have an Intimate knowledge of the Lean Phased Deployment Models (factories and office)Support the allocated site in their competence development.Enable the development of a Lean deployment plan:- Initial introduction of the program and development of the ‘Burning Platform’- Linkage to the BG / CO / BPO/ Function Management Agenda (Hoshin Planning)- Identification of the Value Streams, utilizing the BMCs for support of the prioritizationSupport the execution of the deployment plan:- Determine knowledge and competence gaps and enable training and resource as necessary- Make all Stakeholders aware of ‘off-standard’ issues (e.g. Continuous Improvement Practice Leader, Lean Champion, Site Leader, etc.)Build a network of external Lean/ CI best practices and consultantsInvolvement in Lean End-to-End deployments (I2M, M2O, O2C)

The Simply Philips Academy supports the Consumer Lifestyle Sector “Accelerate” Strategy in creating a culture of execution and enables sustainable growth by improving people’s capability to pursue customer value and drive end to end process performance.As a change agent, supports the sites to manage the Business Transformation in alignment with the Simply Philips (Lean System) roadmap and Business Group Priorities. Coach, enthuse and guide the deployment site leadership and team members, guiding them through the creation of a program deployment plan and supporting its disciplined execution with fidelity to the 5 Phase approach. Manage knowledge sharing and the transfer of best practices across the deployment sites.

Coach site leadership of Philips factories and suppliers in Simply Philips deployment (Lean transformation ). Ensures results achievement for the Simply Philips deployment and first line contact with site management on impact metric commitments. Facilitates and delivers Simply Philips training. Coach and develop the site deployment leader and team. Promotes and shares best practices.

Mangement of supplier quality for Philips CE Mechanical Commodity suppliers. Facilitate the development of supplier capabilities by initiating the supplier improvement programs and manage the supplier quality performance to meet business needs. Conduct supplier risk assessment, supplier certification, and ensure supply reliability and responsiveness. Carried out supplier development projects such as improving cost competitiveness, reducing defects and strengthen manufacturing control system. Lead and coach Productivity Scans at supplier’s premise to ensure productivity increase can be realized, leading to cost savings.

Provide consulting & training services to help Philips factories stay ahead of competition by improving their operational efficiency and quality. Key area of responsibilities covers acquisition, project management, and execution of training & consulting projects in the field of industrial engineering.
