My overall work experience includes: - Policy advisory; program evaluation and analysis; planning, monitoring, evaluation, and implementation follow-up; project preparation; data management, training, and capacity development; research and consultancy; coordination; management; conducting and organizing big events with good knowledge and understanding of the global development agenda; familiarity with policy research methodology; willing to help others as necessary to achieve organizational objectives over 14 years in Ethiopia. Despite this fact, 14 years of professional work experience in different levels equipped me with skills in activity calendaring, selection of target beneficiaries, community mobilization, efficient resource utilization, input distribution, integrated management, data quality assurance, management, and analysis, activity coordination, capacity building, cooperation to work with stakeholders to ensure program sustainability, and also experience sharing and knowledge transfer to the wider community. I have also had national and international exposure visits to executed public programs; I acquired a deep understanding of its best practices. Moreover, I have been actively participating in different community mobilization, charity, greenery, and awareness creation to help me easily understand my community’s traditions and culture. Those activities including planning and scheming both emerging and developing public programs gave me great experience in problem identification, prioritization of intervention activities, cause-and-effect relationships, conducting baseline surveys, and managing focus group discussions.In general, I have substantial experience in improving efficiency, accountability, and value for money. I have sound organizational skills and competencies, being able to work alone and in cooperation with others, very good interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to take responsibility and work under challenges, and sound knowledge of Microsoft applications such as word processing, excel, publisher, power point, and internet browsing.
