I have been connected to the world of finance for as long as I can remember and Miami has only deepened that connection. Throughout my two years of college I have learned and improved skills that will aid me in any future endeavors. Striving to constantly improve and grow, I am devoting my time to pursuing a career as a Financial advisor and wealth manager. I get to learn from professors who have real world experience and hope to pass their knowledge down to their students. I am a Finance major with aspirations to pursue an Accounting minor. I took initiative and got an internship with CapWealth, a small wealth management and investment firm in Nashville, Tennessee, after my freshman year. I went into the internship with a strong work ethic and research skills. At the end of the internship, these skills were sharpened and I developed some new skills along the way. This was a valuable experience for me to get my feet wet with real world experience, but also to see if this was the right path for me. After my time with the group I find myself desiring to learn more about the financial world.Currently, I have an internship with R.W. Baird lined up for this year, but wish to explore any future opportunities. Even though my current goal is to go into wealth management, I still want to explore the vast landscape of the business world and am open to any opportunities that come my way.
