I am currently a graduate civil engineer at Tomkinson, Bendigo. I currently play footy allowing me to develop skills that have benefited me in both my university and work life, such as communication and the ability to work in a team. I grew up on a farm in Serpentine, where I was fascinated by the machinery and the process of cropping and irrigation, contributing to my decision to pursue a career in engineering in the latter stages of high school. I have always exhibited an interest for mathematics and science, displayed through undertaking physics, chemistry and specialist mathematics during VCE, which naturally persuaded me to pursue civil engineering. I am interested in multiple disciplines within civil engineering, including roads & transport, water management and drainage design and would like to eventually venture into project or engineering management.
