Conducted astroinformatics research in the Data Mining Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University, and part of the Georgia AstroInformatics Nexus (GAIN) research group in cooperation with the Department of Physics. My research contributed to developing an open-source machine learning software ecosystem in Python for segmentation of filaments and other transient solar events of interest in h-alpha solar images.
