• Yeast and lab responsibilities: Harvesting and ensuring the health of all of the yeast used in the brewery, yeast propagation, gravity measurement, forced-age testing, forced fermentation, dissolved oxygen measurement, and water titration to measure hardness and alkalinity• Software development: Designed a GUI to track the status of all fermentation vessels and process beer. The program has additional features to sort beer by brand and filter date, track acid washes, and calculate packaging volumes. • Other responsibilities include: Operation of 10 m2 Velo Vertical Leaf DE filter, beer carbonation, beer transfers, tank CIP and SIP, dry-hopping, pump sizing, mapping of CO2 lines, and safety evaluation
