I am a senior at BYU graduating with a double major in economics and applied math. So far I have had three years of experience as a student research assistant doing combinations of data analysis and working on econometric theory. Some of my skills involve creating data visualizations, optimizing code to run more quickly, causal inference, and writing mathematical proofs. I have also been exposed to a wide range of math and computer science subjects including machine learning and mathematical modeling methods. I speak fluent Spanish at a professional level, I learned by speaking to natives in Southern Mexico while I was volunteering there for several years. Non work related, I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, especially in the beautiful mountains here in Utah. I also enjoy painting miniatures as a hobby, as well as playing the piano. Recently I have been experimenting more with cooking, to mixed results.
