From walking door to door to inform members of under-served communities about civil services available in their region, to preparing multi-year contracts for galas, to advising executives on policy updates at international secretariat meetings, stories have always been the first step towards relationship development and management as a trusted confidant and partner. Some stories are told in the quiet jokes told among the new staff nervously milling around the meeting room before the training begins.
