Dr. Mendicino has been in practice since 1985. He has served in many leadership roles at the state and national levels. These include: President of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, President of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Chairman of the Surgical Skills and Annual Scientific Seminar committees of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and served two terms as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, West Houston Medical Center. He is actively involved in education and is the Director of Residency and Fellowship training at West Houston Medical Center's Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency-RRA/ACFAS approved Fellowship in Reconstructive Ankle and Foot Surgery.
