Provide Electrical Engineering support for the NASA funded support contract programs for the design, development, production, and long term support of the POLAR and GLACIER cryogenic freezer modules for the International Space Station. • Manage and provide key technical input on a number of unique electromechanical prototyping projects that require innovative instrumentation, electrical, software control, and mechanical solutions. Patents for some of which have been awarded or are being pursued by UAB IIE.• Actively seek out and pursue Business Development opportunities with numerous external and internal entities. Compose proposals for the solicitation of project based funding.• Acting liaison between the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering and UAB EITD, thereby making my expertise in instrumentation, experiment development and execution, and project management available to the students and faculty. • Mentor multi-disciplinary student teams working on research and development projects including those students involved in senior design (a.k.a. capstone project) and honors research programs.

• Designed and implemented specialized measurement and data processing techniques to meet the stringent data acquisition requirements of the experimentation performed at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) Engineering Mechanics and Explosive Effects Research Group’s (EMMERG) test range and laboratory located at Tyndall AFB. • Managed research oriented experimental programs for AFRL EMEERG. Responsibilities included: o Supervision of installation of candidate technologies in laboratory and in-field test fixtures o Composition of detailed test and instrumentation plans o Record, validate, and process all data collected during AFRL EMEERG experiments o Provide project financial oversight, and compose and present technical reports
