Areas of Responsibility● Gathered requirements by working closely with clients to understand how they use their current system and how their process would transfer across to the Acturis Broking Platform.● Investigated new systems databases to fully understand the relationship links and field usage within data sets. This ranged from well constrained SQL Server databases to screen scrapes.● Transformed the data sets into a valid structure, applying logical rules and translations.● Provided post migration support to clients, which included updates like modifying field mapping and “data top ups”.● Processed internal migrations across client entities, ensuring links with external providers were uninterrupted.● Planned internal tool updates in line with application releases. This involved liaising with the development team, identifying required changes and ensuring these were completed by the team in accordance with the release plan.Skills & Achievements● Improved and maintained a Controlled DB Submission Tool using Powershell and PL/SQL. This included a significant re-write to reduce load times.● Successfully created a tool for client led migration. This allowed clients to process the data themselves, submit as CSV files and receive a report detailing where the data does not fit the valid data structure.● Reviewed and improved our suite of client facing migration documentation, which included creating a default testing pack.● Maintained a client facing ASP.NET/VB website used for UAT issue logging, translation mappings and configuration change requests. This included a complete rebrand of the website in order to improve client usability.

Areas of Responsibility● Responsible for ensuring new brokers were set up on the application with a full suite of customised document templates.● For each new client I successfully delivered on the following areas: o Designed and created an initial suite of documents based on their current templates, logos and branding guidelines. o Presented a training workshop, covering the creation of document templates and how to build specifications. o Provided support up until their go-live date for producing document templates. o Undertook the full build of their document suite based on their revised specifications and ensured clients carried out user acceptance testing.● Worked as a point of contact for our largest client network, representing a large group of our user base. I liaised closely with both them and our team.● Took an active role in the training and development of colleagues. This included creating a training plan, closely monitoring their progress and providing constructive advice.● Performed continual review and redevelopment of the implementation process including updating material provided to our clients.Achievements● Developed and maintained XSLT code used to transform XML data into XHTML & CSS based Word documents.● VBA projects included creating WYSIWYG examples for displaying configuration options to clients.● Wrote Powershell scripts to run web service calls for batch document production.● Produced Batch scripts to automate repetitive tasks, including SVN management.● Created the first set of HTML email templates in the company for a B2C website.
