Professional in the industrial segment with over 23 years on shop floor experience, primarily in railway industry, ferrous alloy heat treatment, metallography, and failure analyses as well as electroplating process, automotive and heavy industry. In 2016, I took a postgraduate course in Safety and Health Engineering. In 2021, I concluded a postgraduate in Human Factors and Ergonomics. Besides my Production Engineering Processes undergraduate course, I also studied Metallurgy in high school. I have been developing duties as a Plant Manager at Voestalpine Railway System Brazil as well as an Attorney-in-Fact to represent the general interests at the Maranhao site with all the governmental departments and their respective agencies.I have been working in direct interaction with the manufacturing, quality, process engineering, logistics, human resources, safety, financial, and procurement departments. I visited some companies to carry out production process benchmarking in Chicago, Decatur, and Kentucky, USA. I also took an intensive English course at the Hansa Language Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for two months (from July to August 2015) and I have been studying an online English course since 2019 in Alabama, USA (one-to-one).From 2019 to 2020, I developed some entrepreneurial actions to prospect opportunities in Portugal and Spain, as well as traveled to Chile, Argentina, and Bolivia to experience some cultural exchanges. I have taught subjects from the Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene field plus Lean Manufacturing methodology in some public and private Brazilians universities.
