Born and raised in western Connecticut, weather first got a hold of me at age 4, and I've never looked back since. Since then, I'veknown the next step was to take it to the next level. make it a career. Over the years, the passion I have shown for meteorology and spreading awareness of it has delighted, surprised, and amazed the friends and teachers I have come to know. I am looking to take myinterest to the next level and am seeking an internship in the research or practical application of meteorology. In my spare time, you can find me making travel plans for some exotic place or chasing the next great storm with my trusty camera. I have a flair for theexaggerated and the embellished, and I love a good dose of camp and cheeziness - which is why a road trip makes me as happy as a planeticket to the other side of the world. And above all else, I live my sense of humor, making light of every situation, but I know to put it on hold when there is work to be done. I am always trying to perfect the art of public speaking any chance I get, and I jump at any opportunity to exhibit my mastery of the spoken word (or the next best thing). I graduated at in the top 10 percent of my class, receivingawards for the best original project in history or current events, as well as for my commitment to scientific pursuit and advocacy.
