Duties and experiences at UNICEF include:• Assisting M&E officer in development of project M&E log frame matrix• Reviewing the quality of existing data in project subject areas and the methods of collecting it• Assisting in organizing and undertake training with collaborating partners on M&E as required• Discussing with Monitoring and Evaluation team members for details on processes and data to be considered to support rolling out of monitoring indicators and tools at all levels• Tracking and monitoring RUTF (Ready-to-use Therapeutic Food) stock for all OTP (Outpatient Therapeutic Programme) health facilities in 28 districts using Rapid pro and compiling reports and giving Nutrition specialists and field monitors feedback on a weekly basis.• Developing Rapidpro flows to track IFA (Iron Folic Acid) supplement programs compliance, coverage, stock and distribution for six districts.• Assisting in developing DHIS 2 (District Health Information System) page for recording and monitoring IFA project reports, coverage and compliance.• Tracking of NNIS (National Multi-Sectoral Nutrition System “DHIS 2”) reporting by districts and coming up with a record for all districts (especially for monthly and quarterly reports).• Developing U-report flows (using Rapidpro) for the communication section to run.• Assisting Communication section in making sure that U-report flows are programmed correctly before they are broadcast • Updating and tracking MNP (Micro Nutrient Powder) data from 9 districts into the NNIS system on a monthly basis• Supporting rolling out of adolescent monitoring indicators and tools at all levels• Distributing IFA (Iron Folic Acid) IEC material and supplements

Duties and experiences at DNHA include:• Assisting the Systems Analyst in analyzing and designing nutrition related systems and automating them using php, MySQL and Joomla within specific a time period• Setting up and troubleshooting Local Area Network for the organization. If problem is not from the organization’s side communicate and working with the Internet Service Provider. • Configure and set up access point DNS as well as authentication details for users to access the internet via WiFi. Maintain the access point and troubleshoot if any problems occur. • Document information about office computer hardware (e.g. serial numbers), networks (e.g. DNS, passwords) as well as systems and their passwords • Update various databases and conduct back ups• Installing licenced antiviruses, making sure the antiviruses are up to date and cleaning any viruses found in any user’s computer• Retrieving any data that may have been lost or deleted in any of the user’s computers• Troubleshooting any hardware malfunction that may occur on the user end. This included CPU’s, hard drives, RAM, cables and printers. This also included replacing and upgrading of computer parts if deemed necessary.• Installing and troubleshooting software and drivers needed by users. • Monitoring network performance on the server’s event log and determining error and their possible source(s).• Provide timely end user support• Prepare monthly ICT reports• Conduct any other duties assigned from time to time for example monitoring a project on the ground that might or will need to be automated.

During my stay with the organization, my duties and responsibilities included:• Designing, monitoring and editing web pages on the organizations website using php scripting language• Creating, providing user support and troubleshooting Microsoft outlook user accounts for both hub and the 10 field offices on the Microsoft exchange server and user terminals • Connecting users to the internet and troubleshooting any arising internet problems for both the hub and the 10 field offices• Installing licenced antiviruses, making sure the antiviruses are up to date and cleaning any viruses found in any user’s computer• Retrieving any data that may have been lost or deleted in any of the user’s computers• Troubleshooting any hardware malfunction that may occur on the user end. This included CPU’s, hard drives, RAM, cables and printers. This also included replacing and upgrading of computer parts if deemed necessary.• Installing and troubleshooting software and drivers needed by users. Software packages like Microsoft office and SPSS as well as drivers for hardware like printers. This would also include installing and repairing windows operating system.• Creating regular Office Outlook backups as well as backups for any other files that users may require or request• Monitoring network performance on the server’s event log and determining error and their possible source(s).s
