About Samuel Muisyo
I am currently working as a Senior Project Engineer at Level Crossing Removal Project. The journey to my current role has been very interesting, engaging and challenging. I have summarised it below:• Undergraduate Study: I graduated from the University of Sydney with a double degree in Mechanical Engineering/Science. My final year thesis topic was laser spectroscopy of second-generation biofuels, the topic interested me as it enabled me to engage both my physics and engineering knowledge. • Engineering Internship: I completed my work experience in 2014 as a Combustion Simulation Engineer working with ANSYS & Solidworks to deliver design solutions for Btola Pty Ltd.• Graduate Program: I started the graduate program at Ford Motor Company in 2015 as a Powertrain Design & Release Engineer (Fuel Systems and Manual Transmission). In 2016 I transitioned into a Vehicle Integration role at Ford Motor Company for my last year as a graduate. Working with the core attributes group (i.e. off road, water management).• Powertrain Systems NVH: On completion of the graduate program I started a role in the Powertrain Systems NVH group at Ford Motor Company. I worked as a Ranger/Everest Attribute Lead & also as Test Lead from February 2017 until April 2019.• Vehicle Safety/Crash Engineer: In May 2019 I transitioned to my current role as an Attribute/Program Engineer working on the next generation Ford Ranger Everest.I am curious and always looking to develop my skills, I am passionate about integrating data science/engineering to efficient project management/delivery in the Engineering Industry.
Listed skills include Solidworks, Matlab, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, and 30 others.
