Park and Sayer development delivered with zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions, Facades using 75% recycled aluminium and EDPs for >80% of building materials.

Lendlease DesignMake's goal is to bring smart design and advanced manufacturing processes to the building industry. We are industry leaders in large scale timber construction boasting some of the largest timber construction projects in the world. As a Project Manager, I'm proud to be working with designers, builders and our clients to push the boundaries of prefabrication and assembly.

Working as a Procurement Lead with the DesignMake business as part of Lendlease Property to develop new innovative ways of prefabricating apartment elements offsite at our new Eastern Creek Factory. Key to our success will be creating and strengthening our partnerships with our supply chain and designers.Along with working in the procurement space, I have the opportunity of bringing my experiences delivering apartments with lendlease to ensure the design of these new products continue the high quality offering put forward by lendlease in the market place.

From April 2016 through to February 2017 I had the opportunity to work along side the Lendlease User Experience Team to delivery two high-end commercial Fit-outs, being WeWorks first Australian Office space at 5 Martin place, and two levels of Office Suites at the new Tower 1, International Towers Sydney at Barangaroo.As the Project Engineer on these projects I enjoyed the chance to take a lead role in Design Management, Procurement, Site logistics and planning. Throughout the projects we worked closely with our clients to ensure the product being delivered would meet the requirements of their customers.Both Projects were completed to great satisfaction of the lendlease, the clients and their end users.

Buildings Anadara (R8) and Alexander (R9) are the first residential buildings to be released at Barangaroo. They are located at the harbour-front southern end of Barangaroo and are medium rise buildings 10 and 8 levels respectively with ground floor retail space. The apartments are high quality and sold in a matter of hours when released to the market.As the Engineer managing first the structure, then Facade and ultimately the finalisation of internal finishes there were very few elements of the project that I didn't have some form of engagement with. The apartments unique and varied facade and curved Cloud section tested the team to be innovative with high levels of collaboration and planning required to successfully deliver the project. Due to the sites location adjacent to both the public domain and other Barangaroo sites the team team was required to maintain high levels of planning, communication and flexibility to work in with planning restrictions, approvals and public expectations.
