Corporate Development Manager
CurrentResponsible for leading and growing Hospice UK’s new business function, securing high-value partnerships with the corporate sector to raise awareness and funds for hospice care. Developed and lead on Hospice UK’s new business strategy, focusing on Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing and strategic partnerships with aligned companies. Developing and delivering a new corporate partnerships’ strategy, involving comprehensive market analysis to identify target sectors, companies and opportunities for partnership development. While creating a robust framework to maximise income, impact and influence from potential corporate partners.Building a new business pipeline from scratch, using various sources and methods to research and identify prospects that matched Hospice UK’s criteria and objectives. Moving organisations across the full sales cycle from baseline research, making approaches, writing tailored proposals, initiating key meetings and delivering winning pitches and presentations. With responsibility for the entire new business income budget, reporting regularly to the Head of Corporate Development and line managing the Senior Corporate Partnerships executive ensuring they also keep up with the targets set. Including responsibility in budget setting, forecasting and analysis of income and expenditure, keeping all projects and campaigns within budget as the team continues to deliver on its commitment to the charity.
