As a recent graduate of Regional Maritime University with a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, I have a strong passion for designing, building, and operating marine vessels and structures. I gained valuable hands-on experience as an Engine Cadet at Danaos Shipping, one of the largest independent owners of modern, large-size containerships. There, I worked with a team of engineers and technicians to perform maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on various engine room systems and equipment. I also learned how to operate and monitor the ship's machinery, electrical, and automation systems, as well as how to comply with safety and environmental regulations. I have developed analytical and mechanical skills that enable me to troubleshoot problems, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and efficiency of marine systems. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to new challenges and opportunities in the naval engineering field, where I can contribute to the advancement and innovation of maritime technology and services.
