Highly dedicated and hard-working Sports Management graduate with excellent team working skills and an acute attention to detail gained through academic studies and previous employment. Having participated and been part of a team within numerous team sports from an early age, I have developed effective communication skills that have allowed me to both listen to my peers and express my opinion in all aspects of my life. Thus, in later life, whether part of a group project in an academic environment or in a workplace environment, I am confident my communication skills facilitate the ability to both adapt to different personalities of a team and produce results effectively and efficiently.As an individual, I bring efficient critical thinking to any given task that I am involved within. Furthermore, critical thinking allows myself to make quick and accurate judgements in complex situations, where many of my colleagues and peers cannot. Thus, this is an essential skill to have part of any team and brings rare dynamic, which develops the effectiveness and efficiency of work production.My main interest outside of academic study is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which is a growing martial art. Other than the health and fitness benefits of this sport, participation in this sport has developed my problem thinking skills and ability to work under pressure. Furthermore, as I have progressed to higher levels of ability, I am able to teach and aid my fellow practitioners. This opportunity has developed both my leadership and communication skills, in addition to appreciate the effects of helping my peers.
