Samuel is the Principal Partner at Makori & Karimi (M&K) Advocates.Previously Samuel was the Senior Partner at S.O. Makori & Associates and had also worked at Oraro and Co. Advocates, a premier law firm based in Nairobi, for over 6 years in its Litigation Department rising to the rank of Senior Associate. Samuel has diverse litigation experience of over 17 years and has acted for a large variety of local and international companies and State entities.Some cases of note where Samuel has acted in include: (1). A landmark judicial Review matter before a 3 judge bench where he represented Medical Practitioners in a dispute relating to the devolution of Health Services to the Counties;(2). A Commercial matter where he acted for a local bank and in respect of which the Court restated the legal effect and application of exclusion clauses in contracts and(3). AConstitutional matter involving the interpretation of the law relating to Political Parties Funding in Kenya and their applicationamong many other cases.Samuel is also both a certified Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public and has carried out extensive work in the areas of: (a).
