•Resonsible for acquiring, developing and retaining profitable clients with high transaction volumes and to maximise on product uptake through cross-selling•Responsible for business growth by promoting all Unaitas products to current and potential customers to ensure profitability.•Responsible for data mining from the existing membership as coded to the officer and creating a pipeline for business development.•Responsible for the growth of branch low cost sticky deposits and uptake of alternative business channels•Interviewing, analysing and evaluating credit applications with emphasis on risks (Business, financial, market and particular focus on repayment risks) and develop timely credit proposal for consideration•Implementing proper risk management practices to ensure that the branch maintains a portfolio at risk less than 5% of the total loan book.•Providing feedback to Head office departments on the market characteristics and competitors’ activities to ensure opportunities for new customers’ acquisition and enhance market share.•Working closely with the Branch Manager to develop branch sales initiatives and to maintain a high degree of customer focus by site visit to the client business and offering proactive advisory services to the customers.

•Facilitating timely processing of quotations and placement of insurance covers through coordination with the Branch Relationship officers.•Organizing and facilitating insurance monthly and quarterly conference/forums for potential and existing members including Sacco Staff.•Continuously reviewing company insurance requirements and advising on the profiles of risks to be presented for insurance cover.•Coordinate for business growth with the business development officers (BDO’S) under the Agency at Branch level.•Ensuring premium is collected as per the laid down procedures on all business underwritten and placed with underwriters.•Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of policy documents and safe custody where applicable.•Claim administration: Lodging and follow up of insurance claims on behalf of the customers, deliver feedback and ensure file closure.•Attending to enquiries and complaints on insurance matters from customers, staff, external lawyers and insurers.•Handling correspondence related to insurance matters.•Promote customer experience by providing timely services within the SLA guidelines. Champion retention and customer loyalty.

•Actively involved in preparation of Annual Development Plan (ADP), County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP), County Budget Review and Outlook Paper (CBROP) and County Annual Program Report (CAPR).•Protocol Attaché – Involved in meetings as rapporteur, data collection, analysis and data presentation for CEC consumption.•Seconded as an enumerator for the KenPHIA nationwide survey and data entry assignment at the Murang’a Civil Registry, a program for the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
