Project managed two large scale wind farm construction projects for Vestas, Sapphire Wind Farm in country NSW and Lal Lal Wind farm on the outskirts of Ballarat Victoria. Led multiple erection teams to complete the mechanical and electrical installations, whilst reinforcing the zero harm safety culture and maintaining the clients expectations.

Managed all of the turbo machinery overhaul projects that flowed through the Australian service facility. This included Rotor Balancing, Re-Blading, Machining, Laser Surfacing, 3D Scanning & NDT on a variety of high speed rotating equipment types such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Multi Stage Turbo Compressors & Blowers. The projects were extremely well planned and executed as the equipment being repaired had huge plant downtime financial implications for our customers. Leading numerous internal and external teams to accomplish these fast turnarounds with frequent site visits for removal, installation & commissioning works.

Assembled a specialised team of high speed rotating machinery technicians to carry out large scale project based machinery overhauls and installations. The majority of overhauls were completed across Australia with the occasional overseas project on a variety of sites including Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy & Chemical. Our customers included the likes of BHP Billion, Shell Oil, Caltex, Bluescope Steel, Rio Tinto, Incitec Pivot, AGL Gas etc.
