My professional journey has traversed a diverse range of occupations and services. I began in the U.S. Army Reserves where I reached the rank of Specialist and assigned as a squad leader within my platoon. During my time in the Reserves I gained civilian employment as a security guard and volunteered as a funeral escort officer. As a security guard I was eventually promoted to a supervisor and managed a small account of private condo residences. As a funeral escort officer I became a team lead and was responsible for route management and communication with funeral staff. After my time in the military and as a security guard I journeyed into education as an instructional assistant at ASU Preparatory Academy where, I have been fortunate to work with a wide range of ages and learning styles. Recently I have taken on a security role at the school giving me the opportunity to experience the procedural and administrative side of education. During my time at ASU Prep. I completed the Biological Sciences Bachelors degree program at Arizona State University. I particularly enjoyed the evolution, vertebrate zoology, chemistry, and genetics classes I participated in while completing my degree. I am now seeking an opportunity which will allow me to utilize my education and experience while challenging me to grow in new ways.
