I am a Cornwall-based HCPC-registered Music Therapist, professional musician, drum and percussion tutor, graduate of the Master of Music Therapy (Nordoff Robbins): Music, Health, Society degree programme in London. I have over 15 years’ experience offering professional drum tuition in the studio, in your own home or in your school. I teach all ages and abilities, all styles and genres, one-to-one or in groups, and aim to help you flourish as a musician, within a fun and interactive learning environment.My teaching methods incorporate elements of the Nordoff Robbins approach, tailoring lessons to individual students, their strengths and tastes. There is an emphasis on collaborative music-making, enjoyment and musicality above everything, whilst also focussing on groove, feel, time-keeping and interpretation, as well as technique, independence and posture. Although busy, I'm always open to new projects, performances, sessions - whether educational, music therapy-related, private or community-based. So please get in touch!
