Camp Ridgecrest For Boys

Ridgecrest Summer Camps exist to "impact lives for God's glory through discipleship and adventure." I am blessed to be a part of a fun team and work in a Christ-centered environment. My responsibilities include overseeing the hiring of all staff and leadership and leading our age group directors at boys camp. I am also have the privilege to run our Family Camp and Father & Son Camp.

Since 1929, Ridgecrest Summer Camps have impacted the lives of boys and girls during a 2-month summer program. Now, it is my responsibility to expand camp's outreach to make it year-around. In the Fall of 2013, Ridgecrest hosted its first ever Family Camp, as well as Mother & Daughter Camp and Father & Son Camp. It is my responsibility to coordinate, plan, market and staff these events. Our vision is to continue to see Ridgecrest's mission statement of: "Impacting Lives for God's glory through discipleship and adventure" be communicated and carried out in as many ways and to as many families as possible.

Asheville, North Carolina Area

Coordinate the college ministry for Biltmore Baptist's East Campus. Responsible for engaging, leading and discipling students from Montreat College and other colleges in the area. Help college students plug into and get connected with the church as a whole. Weekly meet with and disciple students in small group or one-on-one settings.

Black Mountain, Nc

Spent two summers as a Counselor and Lifeguard, responsible for the growth and safety of campers. Spent two summers as the Camp Pastor, responsible for the spiritual climate and well-being of 1000+ campers and staff. And now two summers as the Administrative Director, one of two summer directors, responsible for providing leadership and direction to 80+ full-time staff for the summer months. Interned for one year, responsible for recruiting and hiring 100+ staff.

Assistant Coach, primarily responsible for infielders defensively, and coaching first base offensively. Working on a booklet taking fundamentals from "Head's Up Baseball" and applying them to biblical fundamentals and life lessons.

Responsible for the in's and out's of the largest after-school site in Western North Carolina. Planned the daily schedule as well as special events and trips. Ensured the safety and well-being of 85+ kids on a daily basis. And led a team of 10 in the after-school program.

Athens, Greece

Responsible for the Bat/Ball Boy program at the Olympic Games. Trained locals on the basics of baseball and the operation of its venue. Ensured the smooth operation of the game day experience.
