I was a full-time student at JMU and,while not employed by Young Life or paid a salary by them, did volunteer as much of my time as possible as a volunteer Young Life Leader. Essentially, I served as a mentor for high school students in a rural area of Virginia. I traveled to Mount Jackson on a weekly basis and donated time to trying to form relationships.

• I spent 2.5 years working in the Adirondacks at a summer camp for high school and middle school students as an employee of a Christian non-profit called Younglife. While there I was/was expected to:
• Responsible for the execution and coordination of daily programmaticoperations of a high school and middle school children's camp.
• Communicate with vendors and other business to makes purchases and execute projects around camp.
• Train and co-lead a team of interns overseeing large volunteer staffs and evaluate and shepherd them in growth as leaders and individuals.
• Communicate with parents, thoroughly answer questions and address concerns.
• Receive and fulfill requests of camp guests.
